After losing yet again this afternoon to the lowly Cleveland Indians, the Boston Red Sox ran their abysmal record to 0-6. They’ve already eclipsed their longest losing streak of last year and with the New York Yankees coming into town this weekend, things get could even uglier.

Thankfully, there is NESN hottie reporter Heidi Watney to cheer Red Sox nation up. That is, until she tried some fried chicken ‘n waffles from Progressive Stadium.

I realize that Watney probably isn’t that familiar with southern comfort food, but asking a Clevelander how he came up with the idea for chicken & waffles? Um, honey, where you been? That fried goodness has been around for as long as I can remember. You need to travel a bit south and hit up some diners every once in awhile.

Or maybe you’re just that disgusted with how the Red Sox are playing to start the season. Or maybe, just maybe, you didn’t want to see those two Indians fans making out.

Probably a combination of all of the above.
