We’re back with another set of sexy female celebrities in their Halloween costumes to complete our roundup for the day. All in all it seems that celeb babes didn’t really have their creative thinking caps on, but it wasn’t a total loss. The highlight (as it is pretty much every day) of this set has to be Courtney Stodden and her husband Doug Hutchinson (he’s dressed up as Courtney in case you can’t figure it out — nightmare fuel for weeks there). Sophie Tuner (pictured above) seemed to get in the right spirit, but the rest of the ladies just didn’t do much for me. Maybe you’ll enjoy them more than I did though. I have to say that these promo pics of Holly Madison wearing a bikini on a nippy day trying to sell us some Svedka vodka leave me with mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s always nice to see a curvy well-endowed woman outside in a bikini on a cold day. That’s a given. On the other hand these photos make a strong case for the use of Photoshop in media. I suppose I should find it refreshing that these pics weren’t manipulated to death, but I don’t. Don’t misunderstand me though. If Holly showed up at my house in this outfit I would drop to my knees and thank the heavens above. It’d be like winning the lottery. But she didn’t show up at my house, she’s in promotional photos and I see flaws. See what I mean about mixed feelings? Damn you society for creating these confounding expectations!!

A few years ago I was at working on a reality show in a hotel called The Aladdin in Las Vegas. The last memories I have of that hotel were of me inadvertently yelling a smart-ass comment while I walked past a then training Mike Tyson and subsequently running into the same, yet somehow scarier and angrier looking Mike Tyson in the parking lot a mere hour later. Somehow, I lived through that day; and later on as I changed my pants, I also learned that Harrah’s had bought the hotel and was refurbishing it into what is now The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Last week the people at Harrah’s and Planet Hollywood Las Vegas paid for a trip that flew myself and a friend out to partake in a few days of living the “Diamond Life,” which is the premium status one can attain in Harrah‘s “Total Rewards Program,” and is usually only available for high-rollers and VIP clientele. I was issued a “Diamond Rewards Card” (with pre-loaded credits)  and  treated to a few days of Vegas fun, which included a spot on the red carpet at “The Expendables” premiere. This is how I blinged it out.

The suites at the hotel are all given a theme from a famous film. I had the “Chaplin” suite, meaning that once again, my reputation as a tramp had preceded me. The girls from college candy had the “Dead Poets Society” room and couldn’t get a hyped-up Robin Williams out of their bathroom. “Using the sink, huh? Sink, sank, sunk the Lusitanian. Hey how bout that WWI, huh…” I guess I’m glad I got a silent movie.

We were treated to dinner at both Koi and The Striphouse, which sounds like a gentleman’s club, but is actually a first-class restaurant that makes a damn fine martini.

The Planet Hollywood is also home to Playmate Holly Madison’s new stage show “Peepshow,” which we attended the second night. If you enjoy beautiful, half-naked women dancing around in a fairytale setting — this is your show.

And I’m telling you right now, if they gave away a Pulitzer Prize for the “Best A**,” Holly Madison might not win it, but damn, she’d surely be in the running.

Before the show our group of bloggers retreated to the Diamond Lounge where Diamond customers are treated to a relaxed spot away from the flashing lights and ringing of slot machines. And like all writers do, we were treated to quite a few complimentary drinks and downed them in record time.

Some of us get inebriated and start telling stories with a lot of flair and unnecessary hand gestures…

We also were invited to take a tour of the Penthouse Suite at Caesar’s Palace. You still can’t swim in the fountain but they assured me that the hotel is now 100% pager friendly. Hey look, it’s me working!

If you’re really loaded or are the President of the United States, this would be your view from the top of Caesars.

Caesars is also home to the nightclub PURE, and we spent a night there with a little bottle service thrown in. It was like being Kayne, without all the yelling and interrupting people.

The next day we got to do a meet and greet with one of the stars of The Expendables, Randy Couture.

I think I was one of the only people that got a shot of The Governator. Contrary to popular belief, he did not come back.

I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting Holly Madison to be this hot. And I worked in Hollywood for a few years.

The man of the hour — this was actually the best pic I could get of the circus that surrounded him. Taller than I thought…

I asked to have my pic taken with one of the dealers. Gentleman, this is how all the dealers at the casino dress. And yes, they are all women. And yes, they may even have one that dances on a pole in front of their blackjack tables. Just sayin’…

And after four days of activities, gambling and cocktails, my life in the diamond lane was over. The card that they cut me loose with let me jump ahead in lines, eat at any restaurant in any casino that Harrah’s owned (they own a lot of nice casinos) and drink Jack Daniels until my little heart was content. It was the VIP treatment and it was a hard fall leaving the plush life to go back to Boringtown, USA. The folks at Harrah’s were very friendly, knowledgeable and actually took a vested interest in the blogging community. I’m telling you that this place is not the Planet Hollywood you are probably thinking it is, and the service and people were top notch. The Diamond Card was almost too much fun, and in the words of Ferris Bueller: “If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”

I’d like to thank the folks at Harrah’s for inviting me out and giving me a taste of the “Diamond Life.” I’d also like to thank Scott Roeben for letting me use some of his fantastic pics in this article (he will be the photographer for my marriage to a Vegas cocktail waitress/prompt divorce from said waitress, next time I visit) and my buddy Steve for coming out and snapping a few photos and hanging out as well.

There is over five million dollars in this baby. I didn’t take any home with me this time, but unlike the Governator at The Expendables premiere — I’ll be back…

Holly Madison held a Super Bowl party at Lavo night club Saturday night called the Holly bowl. Naming a party after yourself isn’t really unique, in fact its kind of egocentric. But alas, I’m not sure anybody really cares if she looks like that.
