A breakdown of reviews by the Jewish Chronicle (whom you’d assume would be big fans of a bad Hitler movie) included ones from Indian critics that call the film “ignorant,” “botched up,” and “ineffective.” They also express confusion as to why every actor in the film is Indian.

Obviously, I’ve not seen the film (our relations with the PR departments of B movies in India leave something to be desired) but I have to stick up for it a bit here. And that did not turn out well.

Fitzgerald told ABC affiliate KGO about the situation:

“I couldn’t find them on my computer and that made me nervous,” said Fitzgerald.

So she called Dell support for help with her new Dell computer and delicate problem. She was connected to a Dell support contractor in Mumbai, India named Riyaz Shaikh.

“I trusted him. I trusted him because he was a Dell technician and I don’t like the cyberworld, you’re so vulnerable,” said Fitzgerald.

She gave the technician permission to access her computer remotely and watched as he found the pictures and downloaded them.

“Oh yeah, I’m totally convinced. I watched him take the pictures out of my e-mail. I watched him,” said Fitzgerald.

In the technician’s defense, she was worried that she couldn’t find the photos. So it makes sense for the tech to save the photos himself so, that way, she wouldn’t have to worry about losing them again. How kind of him!

But the story doesn’t end there…16 of Fitzgerald’s photos allegedly appeared on a porn site made solely to display her photos. The technician then said he could remove the site if she mailed him a brand new laptop so he could work on her problem from his home and, brilliantly, she did.

Dell released a statement saying that they contacted the outsourcing firm in India and confirmed that the tech no longer handles Dell calls. Presumably because he’s too busy fappin’ his days away with his payloads of nude photography.

A judge in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh ruled against Vandana Gurjar for comments about her estranged husband Hemant Chhalotre’s alleged impotence.

The damages for the suit stemmed from Chhaltore’s claims that the accusations of impotence had “rendered him unmarriageable and sullied his prestige.” [ED. NOTE: Women..always sullying your prestige.] According to The Telegraph, the amount awarded to Chhalotre is more than the average annual income in India.

The lawsuit is the culmination of almost a decade of problems between Gurjar and Chhalotre. The couple married nine years ago but Gurjar left after three months, saying that she was unable to achieve “conjugal bliss due to Mr. Chhalotre being impotent.”

“I appeal to all of you to be patient and be brave in this hour of tragedy. He (YSR) wanted to see a smile on the faces of all and if you resort to such things (suicide) this will hurt him,” said Jaganmohan, trying to hard to control his tears.

“I request you not to commit suicide,” said Jaganmohan, who was elected to Lok Sabha from Kadapa in recent elections and is being seen by many as the next chief minister. The appeal before the camera was telecast on all Telugu television channels.

That’s pretty amazing to yield that kind of power over people’s lives that they kill themselves just because you ceased to exist. I can relate though. I’ve never told you guys this, but I have soothsaying powers, meaning I can see the future. And I have seen my own death. I’m not entirely sure how I get to a point in life in which I die, suffocated in a vat of fudge, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be suitably epic. And I can only assume that the future I saw immediately after my death means people were heavily impacted. Dozens of people high-fiving at the funeral, chest bumping like the 1994 New York Knicks. I must have really made a difference in their lives.

Farmers in an eastern Indian state have asked their unmarried daughters to plow parched fields naked in a bid to embarrass the weather gods to bring some badly needed monsoon rain, officials said on Thursday.

Witnesses said the naked girls in Bihar state plowed the fields and chanted ancient hymns after sunset to invoke the gods. They said elderly village women helped the girls drag the plows.

“They (villagers) believe their acts would get the weather gods badly embarrassed, who in turn would ensure bumper crops by sending rains,” Upendra Kumar, a village council official, said from Bihar’s remote Banke Bazaar town.

“This is the most trusted social custom in the area and the villagers have vowed to continue this practice until it rains very heavily.”

Colleges in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh said Wednesday that female students would be banned from wearing jeans and other Western clothes to halt sexual harassment by male classmates.

“Girls who choose to wear jeans will be expelled from the college,” Meeta Jamal, principal of the Dayanand girls’ college in Kanpur city told AFP. “This is the only way to stop crime against women.”

A growing number of colleges in Uttar Pradesh have decided to outlaw jeans, shorts, tight blouses and miniskirts on campus in an attempt to crack down on “Eve-teasing” — as sexual harassment is known in India.

Hindu extremist groups have in recent months attacked women drinking in pubs and threatened couples who make public displays of affection.

I try to work out, take mixed martial arts, all in the hopes that I can one day be the baddest man to ever live. But clearly I’m losing in the genetic lottery because this guy looks as though he got off a four day lard bender and still he’s flipping guys through car windshields like it was nothing. I’d like to see him tackle other difficult physical endeavors, like sloppily dunking over LeBron James or entering into one of those strongman competitions.

Courtship can be an intricate business in India, but the mothers of the northern state of Haryana have a simple message for men who call on their daughters: “No toilet, no bride.”

The slogan – often lengthened in Hindi to “If you don’t have a proper lavatory in your house, don’t even think about marrying my daughter” – has been plastered across villages in the region as part of a drive to boost the number of pukka facilities. In a country where more households have TV sets than lavatories, it is one of the most successful efforts to combat the chronic shortage of proper plumbing.

That is probably partly because of the country’s skewed sex ratio, with 8 per cent more men than women, leading to a “bride shortage”. Woman generally have also become more vocal in their resentment at having to relieve themselves outside, giving brides more leverage in premarital bargaining.

In India it is estimated that more than 660 million people still defaecate in the open – a big cause of a host of diseases, from diarrhoea to polio. It is women, activists say, who suffer the most. “Women who must go outside have to do so before sunrise or after nightfall so they can’t be seen,” said Bindeshwar Pathak, founder of Sulabh, which has built toilets for ten million Indians, and the recipient of this year’s Stockholm Water Prize for developing ecofriendly and cheap lavatories to help to improve public health.
