Stanford offensive coordinator position now named after Andrew Luck

As part of an anonymous donation to Stanford University, the offensive coordinator will now forever be tied with Andrew Luck. And the new title sounds kind of ridiculous.

According to a press release issued by Stanford today, the offensive coordinator position will now be known as the Andrew Luck Director of Offense.

“It is a huge tribute,” said Luck in a quote issued in the press release. “To have anything endowed in my name is a complete honor. I feel very fortunate to have come to Stanford, and I have always enjoyed representing the University. The offensive coordinators I’ve had here helped me not only in football, but also to grow so much as a person. To be a part of that leadership and position is a very proud legacy for me.”

The first Andrew Luck Director of Offense will be Pep Hamilton. Hamilton was hired as offensive coordinator last year after coach Jim Harbaugh moved to the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.

Naming positions via endowment isn’t new at Stanford; the title of head coach, currently held by David Shaw, is referred to internally as the Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football.

Here’s hoping a fan of the Indianapolis Colts makes Luck feel at home on his new team by endowing the position of quarterback as “The Peyton Manning Director of Throwing a Football Exceedingly Well to Compensate for Your Team’s Overall Mediocrity.” What it lacks in brevity it more than makes up for in poignancy.

Gary Brackett fined $35k for brutal hit on Ken Amato

It appears Gary Brackett’s devastating hit Sunday on long snapper Ken Amato has landed him in the doghouse with the NFL. Specifically to the tune of $35k according to Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer.

If you haven’t seen the hit already, it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s one of those typical crack back blocks you’ll see on a special teams play, except this one definitely looked head-to-head.

Moral of the story? Keep your head on a swivel son.

There was talk this week in Indiana that Peyton Manning was past his prime and he couldn’t get the job done anymore. Well, for at least one game, he seemed to have regained the touch that has made him one of the better quarterback of all-time. Manning threw for 319 yards and 2 TDs in the Colts win over the Titans last night. He was near perfect completing 25 of 35 passes en route to a 118.6 QB rating. Hopefully, that type of performance will hold off the fans for awhile.

It looks the Red Sox and Yankees are taking their rivalry into the off-season as well. Both teams have made splashes thus far, however, none was bigger than the Carl Crawford signing the other day for Boston. The Yankees are still trying to figure out a deal to get Cliff Lee for that 7th year but nothing has been determined as of yet. Stay tuned though–something may very well come down the pipes today.

After making the trek all the way to Mount Kilimanjaro for a fundraising event, 18-time Grand Slam winner Martina Navratilova had to stop because of an illness. “Navratilova, 54, had to stop the climb of Africa’s highest mountain on the fourth day when the expedition had reached an altitude of 4,500 meters”. Nonetheless, fairly impressive for a women her age to be climbing mountains.

With all due respect to Cam Newton, I don’t believe a word of what he said yesterday. Newton reiterated that he has done nothing wrong when he decided to play for Auburn. “Newton’s father, Cecil, was found by Auburn and the NCAA to have asked for money from Mississippi State in exchange for a letter of intent from his son, a violation of NCAA rules. Cam Newton said, “Everything I’ve done at this university, I did it the right way,”. Yes, I’m sure you and your dad are working independently Cam. Sorry, I call b.s.

One of the big sticking points for the new NFL collective bargaining agreement will be the 18-game schedule. It’s definitely something owners are looking for but not something players necessarily want. Last year, the NFL set a record for numbers of players going on the IR and with the number of devastating helmet-to-helmet hits this year, it’s a wonder how some teams will field a squad with two more games.

Despite Vince Young’s stellar record as a starter in Tennessee and his .638 winning percentage, it appears his days in the Music City are numbered. After being booed and subsequently injured, Young made his way to the locker room to get taped up to return. But coach Jeff Fisher opted to go with rookie quarterback Rusty Smith and that sent Young into a tizzy. He allegedly threw his shoulder pads into the stands and stormed out of the media session in the post game. All in all, including the 19-16 loss to the Redskins, not a good day if you’re a Titans fan.

In the battle of the two best quarterbacks of the last decade, it was Tom Brady and his hair that came out on top. Peyton Manning had a 4th quarter comeback all but sealed up but threw a costly interception in the red zone. His numbers for the day were less than Peyton-esque too, four touchdowns with three interceptions. Brady, however, was his usual self. A ho-hum 186 yards, 2 touchdowns and a 123.1 passer rating.

The Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger case, for some reason, is still going on. I’d guess it’s because Jenn desperately wants to keep herself in the news. Regardless of the reason, the investigation movies into the CSI lab this week. “The NFL is conducting high-tech forensic work to trace the electronic pathways and transmission of any photos or messages that might have been sent during communication between them, according to a source familiar with the situation.”

As the days and weeks go on, I sincerely believe there’s now a chance that Derek Jeter, the pride of the New York Yankees, will be in a different uniform next year. After initially being offered a 3-year, $45 million dollar deal, Jeter and Yankees management have gone back and forth using the media as their middleman. It’s gotten so bad that Jeter’s agent, Casey Close, issued this statement yesterday. “Derek’s significance to the team is much more than just stats. And yet, the Yankees’ negotiating strategy remains baffling.”

The worst thing for Nebraska fans this weekend wasn’t the 9-6 loss to Texas A&M, no, that was the least of their concerns. Rumors began swirling late Saturday night into Sunday that their Heisman candidate and quarterback Taylor Martinez had quit the team. It had gone so viral that it was the #1 search on Google last night and it forced Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini to address it. “He’s still on the team,” Pelini said. We’ll see about that.

Sammy Sosa can’t even catch a break in retirement. The corked bat he used went to auction and a high bid of 14,407 was made, but apparently that wasn’t enough to satisfy the seller, former Cubs pitcher Mike Remlinger. I’m still confused as to why Remlinger is in possession of it but I guess it’s good to know he’s that hard up for cash.

Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb didn’t get support from his offensive line Sunday and now it appears he’s not getting it from the coaching staff either. One day after being pulled in favor of Rex Grossman in the late stages of the Lions game, coach Mike Shanahan told the media that McNabb simply isn’t in good enough shape to lead the team during the two-minute drill. Listen, it might have been kosher if that was Elway or Montana coming off the bench to relieve you. But Rex Grossman? To avoid embarrassment, I fully expect Donovan to call it a career today citing major injury.

The World Series ended last night with the Giants first ever title in San Francisco. For those of you east of the Mississippi, my deepest apologies as you probably didn’t even bother watching. Sunday night’s game 4 drew 2.6 million less viewers than a regular season game between the Saints and the Steelers. If there was any doubt as to what sport is king in this country, it ended sometime during the 2010 MLB playoff run.

Baron Davis is listed at 215 in the L.A. Clippers media guide. Thankfully, we now know they are using one of those scales that fudges your weight by 20-30 pounds. Where can we purchase one of those by the way? For what it’s worth, Coach Vinny Del Negro, is not amused with the somewhat chubby Davis. “His focus needs to be on staying in condition and playing at a high level”. That’s a nice way of saying you’re fat.

Arian Foster tried his damndest to duplicate his offensive output in the first game of the season against the Colts. But his 167 total yards last night in a 30-17 loss were no comparison to his 231 on the ground earlier in the year. Had it not been for Foster though, the Texans may have not done any damage on the offensive end. Quarterback Matt Schaub was continually pressured all game long resulting in three sacks and countless hurries and knockdowns.

Jay Cutler could handle eight sacks, but number nine finally did him in. The Bears’ quarterback suffered a concussion after he was repeatedly hit yesterday in the first half by the Giants defense. His status for week 5 is uncertain. His status for wanting to kill his offensive linemen and Mike Martz however remains extremely clear.

Josh Scobee kicked the 8th longest field goal in NFL history to defeat the Colts yesterday. It was the longest of his career and marks the 3rd time since 2007 that Scobee has beaten them with a last second field goal. Now if only the Jags could play like that against other teams.

Remember LaDainian Tomlinson? Just a few short years ago, he was arguably the best running back in the NFL and certainly one of the best in history. The Chargers wrote him off in the offseason citing old age and diminishing production. So he went to the Jets and the 31-year old pulled off his 47th 100 yard game against the Bills in Sunday’s game.

So which one is it Ms. Hong Su Jong? The North Korean gymnast has used three different birth dates for competition purposes ranging from 1985-1989. Age falsification has been a problem for gymnastics for quite some time. But never has something like this occurred. So on one hand I feel bad that people have been taking advantage of Jong for so long. On the other hand though, well, she sure does get her fair share of birthday cakes.

The last time both USC and Texas were unranked during the regular season, yea, it was a long time ago–516 weeks to be exact. The Trojans were stunned over the weekend by the visiting Huskies and Texas lost to bitter rival Oklahoma in the Red River rivalry making this the first since week 9 of the 2000 season that neither found themselves in the AP poll.

Texans’ running back Arian Foster finds himself in elite company today. After sitting out part of the game for disciplinary action, Foster came in to tally 187 yards from scrimmage in about 2.5 quarters. His offensive explosion thus far four games into the season has only been matched by two other players in history. Billy Sims and Emmitt Smith…both perennial pro-bowlers in their career.

Going into today’s Ryder Cup action, the U.S. finds themselves trailing the Europeans by three points. Considering the Americans were at one time leading this competition 6-4, it gives you an idea how the last session went. The Europeans stormed back to take command winning 5.5 out of a possible 6 points yesterday. But like all other Ryder Cups before, the singles matches will decide who takes home the trophy.

George Blanda, considered by many to be one of the greatest football players of all-time died yesterday at the age of 83. Blanda was one of two players to play in four different decades as his career spanned from 1949-1975. Because he was both a kicker and quarterback, Blanda accumulated 3,418 points in his career (unofficial stat).

MNF was certainly a flag fest last night for the Green Bay Packers. A whopping 18 penalties for 152 yards including a late pass interference call that led to a Bears winning field goal. The Bears are now the only undefeated team left in the NFC, although, their record is marred by a Calvin Johnson overturned TD in the first game of the season.

49ers’ offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye was fired yesterday by coach Mike Singletary. The reason? Well, it’s pretty simple actually. With two very talented players in Vernon Davis and Frank Gore, the Niners have only scored a paltry 38 points in their first 3 games.

The Philadelphia Phillies won their fourth straight NL East title last night defeating the Nationals 8-0. Dating back to 2007, the Phillies have had extremely consistent seasons winning between 89-94 games each year (they still have five remaining this year). For pitcher Roy Halladay, it is his first trip to the playoffs after 13 less than stellar seasons with the Blue Jays.

The 18-game NFL season is now a reality according to Colts owner Bill Polian. “I think that the owners, and principally the commissioner, have decided that it’s the way to go, and so the debate, such as it was, is over”, Polian said. It’s a wonder now if the NFL will consider shortening the preseason and possibly expanding the roster to deal with the injuries that will surely have more an effect on the game than ever.

Though John Daly has made over nine million dollars on the PGA tour and probably more than he can imagine in endorsements, he’s had his fair share of money problems. And now he’s not happy that a company is marketing his name on an alcoholic drink without his permission. He asked his fans on Twitter to contact him if they see the drink at any local bars. Arian Foster ran for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Texans beat the Colts yesterday. The 231 yards was the most the Colts had given up against any running back since Barry Sanders in 1997. Not bad for a guy who just last year found himself on the Texans’ practice squad for a majority of the season.

Day 13 of the U.S. Open will now turn into Day 14 of the U.S. Open. The much anticipated match between Nadal and Federer, *er*, Djokovic was postponed until Monday at 4 EST because of rain. The entire championship itself has been marred by strange weather including wind gusts last week as high as 33 mph.

And 16 years later, the World Championship gold medal finally came back to the United States. While some will point to Coach K or the team’s aggressive defense for the success, it was MVP Kevin Durant who put the team on his back offensively. His seven three-pointers proved too much for Turkey–as a result of the win, the U.S. reclaimed the #1 world ranking from Argentina and now hold every major international title.

The Cowboys appeared to pull out a last minute win against their divisional rival Redskins last night. That is until they saw the laundry on the field. “Holding #71″, the ref screamed. Unfortunately for Alex Barron, there was no hole he could crawl into that was large enough to hide a man of his size.

For the first time in well, forever, Tiger Woods will be excluded from a tournament for not being “good enough”. His 15th place at the BMW championship this weekend left him in 42nd place on the FedEx Cup points list. Only the top 30 move on to the Tour Championship.

James Madison received 11 points for the AP top 25 after pulling off a major upset against Virginia Tech Saturday. The loss leaves the Hokies unranked and wondering what happened. Most had them 2-0 and contending for a national championship early in the season. Now coach Frank Beamer has to wonder if his team is even good enough to make a bowl game.

Reggie Wayne has an ex-girlfriend, credit card problem

Reggie Wayne seems like a nice enough guy that I won’t chastise him too much here. But to all other athletes out there who may or may not be dating a psycho woman and who don’t regularly check their finances, let this serve as a warning.

According to police, Wayne came to them in April claiming ex-girlfriend Natasha Mckenzie had racked up almost $94,000 on one of his credit cards.

Wayne told investigators when he checked with the bank that he learned McKenzie had used the card for more than 300 transactions since September 2009.

While 94k might seem like an exorbitant amount of money to go missing, it pales in comparison to other stories of athletes who were more than careless with friends using their bank accounts.

-NBA star Rip Hamilton sued his former manager Josh Nochimson for 1 million dollars after he was found using Hamilton’s American Express card for flights and writing unauthorized checks in his name.

-Former Detroit Red Wing and Russian star Sergei Federov sued a business associate of his after he found out the man was stealing money directly from his bank account. The sum total? 43 million dollars

So in hindsight, Reggie Wayne’s financial oversight probably isn’t that bad. But fellas, if your lady is spending 10 hours a day on the computer and she regularly gets delivered packages of Gucci purses and some Prada dresses from Europe, you may want to give your bank a call.

Colts defensive tackle Eric Foster sued for sexual assault

Apparently, the Milledgeville Police Department is not alone in bumbling sexual assault cases with NFL players. An Indianapolis hotel worker is suing the Colts Eric Foster for sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The suit alleges that the morning of the AFC championship game at an IUPUI hotel, the woman visited Foster’s room to deliver something and was assaulted.

Unfortunately for the woman, charges were not pressed although police investigated and took photos of her bruises. She claims that after the incident took place, she immediately reported it to hotel security. Later, when she asked for a copy of the report, she was denied.

Um, pure conjecture on my part but I wonder if possibly losing the Colts’ business at their hotel played any part in that decision. There seems to be no other witnesses to corroborate the accusers story, although, visible bruises right after the alleged assault took place can’t be good for Eric Foster’s side of the story.

The legal part of this aside, it seems that Roger Goodell’s conduct policy will come into effect yet again. At this rate, he may have to field an entire NFL staff just to handle sexual assault cases.

Yes, there is a “Gay” on the Saints football team, Randall Gay to be exact. And what these two Colts players are doing could also be construed as “gay”.

And like Jerry Seinfeld so eloquently said years ago…

“Everyone thinks we’re gay!… Not that there’s anything wrong with that.” That seems like a most appropriate caption.

Holly Madison does an awesome Peyton Manning impression

Holly Madison held a Super Bowl party at Lavo night club Saturday night called the Holly bowl. Naming a party after yourself isn’t really unique, in fact its kind of egocentric. But alas, I’m not sure anybody really cares if she looks like that.

Donned in a Peyton Manning jersey, Holly obviously had a strong rooting interest in the game. Can’t say I’m shocked that a chick who probably knows nothing about sports and who’s famous for showing her boobies to everyone is a front runner.

Unfortunately for Madison, her Colts choked big time. Some of the blame actually goes to her co-star on “Girls Next Door”, Kendra Wilkinson and her husband Hank Baskett. It was Baskett who allowed that onside kick to bounce off his helmet to give the Saints momentum to start the second half.

Woops!

Colts fans, feel free to use these three boneheads as your celebrity scapegoats. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy these pics of Madison.

Super Bowl XLIV highlights, recap

I got a text tonight from a friend, “Nice prediction” (what an a-hole). I’d feel bad about my prediction if I was going out on a limb or I was the only pseudo sports expert who thought the Colts were the far, superior team.

But I don’t.

The Saints won a game on the defensive side of the ball and with some gutsy coaching decisions. And while gutsy coaching decisions have been a staple of Sean Payton’s coaching career, the Saints haven’t exactly been stellar on defense the last couple of months.

Going for it on 4th down late in the second half looked like a failure at first, but when the Colts gave the ball right back and the Saints scored, all seemed well again.

And then the onside kick to begin the 2nd half was nothing short of brilliant. The Colts were caught with their pants down and any momentum they could have regained was lost.

But certainly the play people will be talking about for years is the Tracy Porter’s interception return for a TD that sealed the game.

Apparently, (and of course this could just be hogwash from the Saints) they had a surprise defense for Peyton in the second half. And while I’m not sure this was exactly disguised as opposed to a mix up between Wayne and Manning, it worked nonetheless.

Manning quickly went from “GOAT” to “A great quarterback who has trouble in big games”.

Sadly, he’ll be remembered for the one mistake that cost him and not the 3 1/2 quarters spent shredding the Saints defense.

On the other side, Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees was spectacular. Rarely missing a throw after the first quarter and being patient in waiting for plays to develop down field.

He was the best player on a team that managed to only lose three games all year. Congrats to the New Orleans Saints, your Super Bowl XLIV winner.

Peyton Manning made a deal with the devil

You’ll probably hear a lot of people bad mouth Peyton Manning today. Most of it for good reason. In one of the biggest games of his career, in one of the biggest drives of his career, he was baited into a costly interception that was returned for a touchdown. Ultimately, it cost the Colts the Super Bowl.

Now, we’re not sure if this picture was taken before or after the play, but regardless, it looks like Peyton’s deal with the devil is starting to take shape.

Super Bowl Predictions

We polled the Guyism staff to get their predictions for the Super Bowl. Not surprisingly, its a unanimous sweep for the Indianapolis Colts

While I would love to see the Saints win, I just don’t think they have enough defense to pull it off. Frankly, I’m surprised they’ve gotten this far being that weak on one side of the ball. They dominated teams early in the season but jumping out to huge leads and pinning their backs on the rush. But as the season went on, they struggled in low scoring games, losers of their last three.

They have NO shot in this game if its the in the 20s. At a minimum, they’ll need 35 points to even sniff a victory.

As for the Colts, this game will cement Peyton Manning as the greatest quarterback in NFL history. If he doesn’t throw for at least 300 yards and 3 touchdowns, I’d be completely shocked.

I predict that Peyton Manning will struggle through the first 20 minutes, then pick the Saints apart with laser-like precision and the Colts will cover the spread. I also predict that a female Saints fan will take her top off and someone will get it on video and post it on the Internet.

I think that the Colts win this game. Last week the Saints gave up almost 500 yards of offense to a team that I don’t feel is as good of an offense as Peyton and the Colts. They also had the 26th ranked pass defense during the season and while a lot of that was due to teams having to play catch-up to their high powered offense, I still think Peyton Manning takes over this game. He’s been in this situation before, so I doubt he’ll get the jitters and try to force things and I just see him having a much easier time letting the game come to him than Brees will. Manning is a great pace guy and doesn’t mind playing from behind in the 4th quarter, so I think if the Saint’s offense struggles to get moving (depends a lot on the health of Dwight Freeney), then Manning will systematically pick apart the Saints defense and win his second Super Bowl ring.

Although it could just as easily turn into an epic “Wild Bunch-esque” shootout; sending the “over” on yards and Brett Favre gunslinger references through the roof and my remote control through my television.

I go with the Colts, but it’s gonna be close…

The Colts are going to win, they have the greatest quarterback in the history of the game. His organization is already working on a new contract for him that’s going to make him the highest paid football player of all time, and all this is being reported before they’ve even played the game.

The Saints are the clear fan favorite, I think they have a wider arsenal of weapons, their receivers just DON’T drop balls. But, betting against Peyton is just throwing money away. So I’m going to place a bet on the Colts, but I’ll be rooting for the Saints, because New Orleans deserves some celebratory rioting, and I’m an nfc south guy. Colts, 38-31

I’ll be honest in saying I’m rooting for any result that doesn’t include Brett Favre in the Superbowl. The sappy, feel good stories from every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the writing world would be overwhelming. We’d probably even be forced to watch John Madden come out of retirement to butter-up his boy in the next two weeks. That would even be more brutal than those crappy Frank Caliendo impressions.

So having gone 6-2 in this years playoff run, I feel confident in my Saints-Colts prediction. Sorry Jets fans, your run has been nothing short of miraculous, but your defense can’t stop the reigning MVP.

NFL divisional weekend predictions

We won’t call ourselves Nostradamus or professional handicappers or anything…However, last week we amazingly went 4-0 and correctly picked the Jets/Bengals score and almost had the Ravens/Pats score on the nose.

This week, its gets a little tougher. Obviously, the Ravens have proved that you don’t need to throw the ball in a playoff game if the other team can’t stop the run.

So without further adieu, here are our picks for the week.

If they couldn’t stop Aaron Rodgers last week, there’s no reason for anybody to believe they can stop Drew Brees. Giving up 38 points is being kind.

Can’t see the Ravens linemen dominating yet another game against a team that’s well rested. I also can’t see Manning having a “Brady-esque” game.

Fair to say that Darrelle Revis probably deserved more consideration for defensive player of the year. His shutdown abilities are probably unmatched in the NFL. But can he make a difference in the running game too? Nah

FBI to get involved in Marvin Harrison gun case

On the heels of a GQ article about Marvin Harrison and his involvement in a Philadelphia shooting, the FBI has announced that it will also be looking into the matter.

From Fanhouse:

The FBI has joined Philadelphia police in an investigation into whether the fatal shooting of a drug dealer was connected to an earlier incident, one in which the victim claimed that he was shot at by former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, ESPN reported Thursday.

Dwight Dixon was killed in Philadelphia on July 21, 2009, when an unknown gunman fired six shots into his Toyota Camry — four times through the back window and two more through the passenger’s side window.

…Dixon, who was shot in the chest and stomach, was gunned down in an area close to two establishments owned by Harrison, a bar called Playmakers and a car wash.

I’ll admit to being somewhat naive about Marvin Harrison. Guns, violence, and massive felony cover-ups didn’t seem to be in his repertoire. Then again, what can you really know about somebody when your information is limited to a 3 hour window on Sunday afternoon?

I mean, raise your hand if you thought “family man” Tiger Woods was banging a Pancake waitress in a church parking lot.

(Apologies for the visual, but I wake up and laugh about that story everyday. Not exactly a WWJD moment was it?)

As for Harrison….not looking good for him. I put the odds of him going to jail at a little better than 2 to 1. But don’t take my word on stuff like this. I once thought getting in your car drunk and hitting a pedestrian without braking would at least get you a few years in the slammer. Donte Stallworth has since proved me wrong.

Colts fans irate at team and GM; call into radio show

The Colts, who have been a very respected and successful organization over the last decade pulled a big no-no with the fans on Sunday.

In the 3rd quarter, coach Jim Caldwell pulled his starters and the Colts went on to lose the game and blow a potentially perfect season.

To say the least, Colts fans who have followed the team and pay good money to go see games weren’t happy. So when Bill Polian went to do his weekly radio show on Monday, things got heated.

A brief summary from a Indianapolis Colts blog

* One caller claimed Polian and the Colts had run from the win.

* Another caller, a polite but obviously agitated lady, brought up the point that it was unfair to charge fans high ticket prices during a recession only to see the team pull starters.

* Another fan, which happened to be the last caller of the show, challenged Polian by stating the obviously: The Colts did not put forth a maximum effort to win because they pulled their starters at a critical time in the game.

After a heated exchange with another fan, the broadcast went dead. You can bet that if the Colts somehow fail prior to the Super Bowl this year, many will call for Polian’s head. It may be one thing to rest a guy who has an injury but its quite another to bench your starters in a winnable game at home.

Coming from someone who’s a Lions fan, even I find that despicable. And I lived through the Millen years.

And that my friends is the way Sanders will always be remembered. A great player that was often hurt.

Of his 6 years in the league, he has only played more than 6 games twice.

Twice???

That doesn’t even constitute half a season. 47 games in 6 seasons. And now, after only playing 2 games this season, ESPNs Adam Schefter is reporting that he is done for the year with a torn biceps tendon.

Listen, I realize guys want to get as much money they can, while they can. A few bumps and bruises and a surgery here and there can patch most guys up. But at what point do you say, “I just can’t go on”.

Tony Dungy seems to be everyone’s mentor these days so maybe he can offer some words of advice for Bob. And hopefully for Sanders sake, they include the words, “Hang ‘em up”.
