When you hire guys in bootleg superhero costumes for your child’s birthday party, there’s a reasonable expectation there’ll be some good-natured and wholesome fun. But don’t turn on the dance music or else they’ll start dancing like the skankiest of hoes like the Spider-Man (men?), Batman, and Iron Man in this video.

Okay yeah that was kind of weird but can we talk for a minute about how bootleg that Iron Man costume is? I mean he looks like a midget Mexican wrestler. There have been more realistic representations of Iron Man in Thai porn films. Uh..presumably.

The eagerly awaited trailer for Marvel’s The Avengers has finally hit the Internet and as expected it features Scarlett Johansson doing her sexy Black Widow thing, Chris Evans as Captain America (in a better suit), Chris Hemsworth working his hammer as Thor, Samuel L. Jackson bringing the Nick Fury, and Robert Downey, Jr. killing it as Iron Man once again.

Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki also make brief appearances.

Oh, and it of course has music by Nine Inch Nails, because they’re still badass, right? (What, no AC/DC?)

This guy built a pretty awesome Iron Man suit

Anthony Le has built a pretty good replica of the suit from the film Iron Man. Well, it’s not exactly a “working” suit, but it’s the closest we’ll all see until the Iron Man wars of 2027.

I guess everyone has to have a hobby. This seems like a lot of work, but think about how much fun you could have with a replica Iron Man suit. You could play banjo in the subway station or scare children at the playground or you could just freak out everyone at Baskin Robbins. The possibilities are endless.

On Tuesday May 4th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will release IRON MAN: THE COMPLETE 1994 ANIMATED TELEVISION SERIES and X-MEN: Vol. 5 on DVD! And we have three sets of each to give away to you, our loyal reader!

Nick Fury, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Spider Woman, Hawkeye, Whiplash, and of course, Iron Man, are all here in this 3-disc collector’s edition. While the X-Men 2-disc-set contains the final episode, Graduation Day, with 14 episodes in all. Complete your X-men collection with this must-own final installment of this great animated series.

I know that these DVD’s are going to be greatly enjoyed by our winners because when I showed them to my four year-old son, his reaction was, “This is awesome!” You can’t get a better review than that, folks. I also happened to “review” them (strictly for educational purposes, of course) and I must concur. These videos are really, really good.
