The day started with a Swedish Massage at the tranquil Ananas Spa, but quickly turned into a masochistic assault upon my back.  Take-away lesson: when a masseuse asks you what sort of pressure you prefer you do not say “firm to strong.”

The massage was followed by some cocktails and one of the best dinners I’ve had in years, after which we headed off to the AXE Lounge at Dune.

After the umpteenth bottle and several hours of double-fisting in the club (not in the bathroom), I had to call it a night so I could hit the beach in the morning.  Unfortunately mother nature decided she was going to greet me with chest-to-head sized waves, effectively keeping me landlocked for the day.

The overarching message of the weekend was to introduce AXE’s new line of Men’s Shampoos: AXE Downpour Refreshing Mint, Zen Soothing Tea Tree, and Heat Igniting Citrus 2 in 1.  Each designed to give you a sensorial experience similar to mine: a serene massage, never ending bottle service at the club, and a chill day on the beach.  As a guy I’ve never had much brand loyalty when it comes to shampoos, but after trying these I have to say they’re pretty legit, and I for one am a believer.

As a bonus, Jamie-Lynn Sigler stopped by to drop some pearls of wisdom on us men…

Jamie Lynn Sigler is apparently still getting work, which is great, since she is seen here at something called the Love, Loss, and What I Wore cast party in New York the other day. Also nice is that she still has some sweet, sweet cleavage. I have lamented the fact that JLS seemed to not be getting the jobs she deserves so it’s good to see that someone out there besides me recognizes her talents. Take that how you will.

So now Sigler finds herself in a bit more esteemed company as she’s been seen with Jets QB Mark Sanchez. Feel free to label Sigler a cradle robber as she’s five years his senior. Personally, I’d call her a jersey-chasin’ gold digger but I have a feeling her monthly royalty check from The Sopranos nullifies that theory.

As for Sanchez, dude is a straight-up pimp. From Kristin Cavallari to Jamie-Lynn Sigler in a matter of a few months? No wonder he didn’t want to take Pete Carroll’s advice and stay in school.

Emmanuelle Chriqui was at something called the Alexx Jae & Milk FW10 Collection Launch Party the other day. Good, right? No doubt. Also in attendance with Manny were Amy Smart and Jamie Lynn Sigler. Makes you wish you could get invites to these events, doesn’t it? As much as I enjoyed seeing Emmanuelle Chriqui naked the other day, it’s still nice to see her rocking some major cleavage in a hot dress. Sometimes the imagination is better than the real thing.
