Following Joe Paterno’s death on Sunday, eBay exploded with a myriad of memorabilia. Everything from signed items, to ticket stubs of old games, t-shirts and figurines, presumably in an attempt to cash-in while the iron was hot. Certainly not the most honorable way to profit, but then again, you know, capitalism.

In a somewhat surprising move, Jerry Sandusky waived his right to a preliminary hearing this morning. The whole thing lasted approximately one minute according to those live-Tweeting the event. Sandusky addressed the media afterwards in a rare public statement since news of the scandal broke.

In what can only be a deemed a cowardly move by Penn State administration, Joe Paterno’s scheduled press conference this afternoon has been canceled. It appears the school is scrambling for answers and although they suggested Paterno would not address anything outside of the Nebraska game, it’s became quite clear that it would have been impossible.
