There’s really no news hook here…I read an article on Brock Lesnar in this weekend’s UFC pay-per-view, then I read an article on Australia and I thought, “Man, I’d love to see some kangaroos beating the crap out of people.” And if I want to see it, clearly you must want to too!

This is like the benchmark for Kangaroo boxing, the clip you’ll find everywhere if you search “Kangaroo boxing” or whatever. It’s a clip of a Kangaroo losing its mind (read: being a Kangaroo) on some talk show. It attacks the woman, then attacks some guy in a leather jacket. It also appears as though it’s being moved by a puppeteer, making for some crazy Drunken Boxing/Puppet Punch hybrid fighting style that’s effective and adorable.

How about a fair matchup? Kangaroo on Kangaroo, no holds barred. I also enjoy how they just stop for no particular reason. That’s how you know they respect each other. Or how someone dropped a hamburger nearby.

More after the jump…
This clip is less violent but more entertaining, from some Korean circus. Note how the Kangaroo doesn’t take too kindly to being patronized by the referee dude and that chick, opting to pummel him off the stage (go to about 55 seconds in for that bit of hilarity).

Two Kangaroos fight on a golf course. Don’t they know that golf is a game of class and respect? And don’t they know they should fight to a finish? Someone needs to teach these Kangaroos how to put on a show.

And of course, what would a sport be without marketing tie-ins. Kangaroo Fight Night would have to be at least as popular as that Arena Football video game, right?

Point is…Kangaroos could beat the crap out of Georges St. Pierre. Make it happen, bring back Man Vs. Beast!
