Forty-percent of the people polled said they would be “angry” about their girlfriend doing that.

For comparison’s sake, 82 percent said they would consider it cheating if their girlfriend kissed another man for fun compared to 61 percent considering it cheating for the girl-on-girl kiss.

The most popular reasons given for why men would dump their girlfriends over the lady love? They didn’t believe they’d be able to trust their girlfriend or they were concerned she would be confused about her sexual orientation.

The study was conducted for MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk by polling 1,500 British men.

It pains me to see that so many men answered this question incorrectly. The correct response is: “No, it’s not cheating so long as I’m there, we both get to pick the girl, and I get to join in or quietly masturbate in the corner. But yes, it is cheating if she’s wearing a pants suit and looks like KD Lang.” There is no room for compromise on this stance.

The Itawamba County school district’s policy requires that senior prom dates be of the opposite sex. The American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi had given the district until Wednesday to change that policy and allow 18-year-old Constance McMillen to escort her girlfriend, who is also a student, to the dance on April 2.

Instead, the school board met and issued a statement announcing it wouldn’t host the event at Itawamba County Agricultural High School in Fulton, “due to the distractions to the educational process caused by recent events.”

“It is our hope that private citizens will organize an event for the juniors and seniors,” district officials said in the statement. “However, at this time, we feel that it is in the best interest of the Itawamba County School District, after taking into consideration the education, safety and well being of our students.”

McMillen said she feared she would be thrown out of the prom because “we do live in the Bible Belt.”

The ACLU says it’s giving the school until Oct. 23 to respond before pursuing court action, said Kristy L. Bennett, the ACLU’s legal director.

Veronica Rodriguez, 47, said school officials are trying to force her daughter — who doesn’t even own a dress — to appear more feminine.

“The tux is who she is. She wears boys’ clothes. She’s athletic. She’s gay. She’s not feminine,” said Rodriguez during an interview Thursday at the ACLU office.

A mythical Swedish town where men are barred from entering and women turn to homosexuality has piqued the interest of several Chinese media outlets.

The town, supposedly founded in 1820 in the northern Swedish woods by a wealthy widow, boasts 25,000 residents and a medieval castle, according to the Chinese news agency Xinhua.

Dozens of Gig Harbor High School students demonstrated outside the school Monday to protest an official’s decision to show parents surveillance video of their daughter kissing another girl.

The controversy arose after the school’s dean of students, Keith Nelson, saw the two kissing and holding hands and found video of it on the surveillance system. He showed it to the parents of one of the girls because they had asked to be kept apprised of her behavior.

The parents moved the girl to a different school district after watching it.

Classes continued during the disruption, said Principal Greg Schellenberg. He said he congratulated the students on holding a peaceful demonstration. The protesters wore T-shirts that said “free love” and waved peace signs.

Schellenberg agreed that it was wrong to show the surveillance video to the parents, and said that from now on school officials may only use the surveillance for security monitoring and discipline for actions such as trespassing, vandalism and fighting.

You really have to be careful with students’ rights. If two girls are making out, who’s to say they’re wrong? I’m sure he doesn’t do the same thing for heterosexual make-out sessions. Well, whether you like this comic or not, you really need to stand up and take notice of this comic. I’ve only read that site a couple times, but I wholly applaud its commitment to having moderately attractive lesbians talking about silly issues.
