Well, that didn’t take long. Three hours into the tournament and the Butler Bulldogs have given us our first buzzer beater of 2011. Tied with Old Dominion at 58, a wild scramble under the basket ended up in the hands of Butler’s Matt Howard and he laid it in as time expired.

If this wasn’t the greatest upset in tourney history, then it is definitely in the conversation. The #9 seeded Northern Iowa Panthers defeated prohibitive favorite Kansas in the second round, 69-67.
