The 2011 Emmy Awards are in the books. Some actors and actresses were winners, some were losers, no one really cares, but them. However, as usual this was a showcase for sexy ladies and therefore I must file this report. Remember that photo shoot and video I showed you last week that had Hilary Duff looking hot in a sports bra? Well, apparently Jenny McCarthy is also involved, and also looks damn good. And according to the video you see below Padma Lakshmi and Christie Brinkley are also part of this ad campaign for Danskin. Not surprisingly, they also look hot. In fact, Christie Brinkley looks ridiculously good for her age. Must be something about sexy ladies in tight clothes that’s doing it for me. Nicely done.

On the one hand, Padma Lakshmi is a pretty sexy older lady so her implied lesbianism and new affinity for making sounds in women’s bosoms is kind of hot. And she really made that Antonia girl uncomfortable. Both of these things are definitely pluses in the “This Is Hot” column. On the other hand, Antonia is a bit gelatinous and, even though Padma just learned the term “motorboat”, she was probably doing it to Salman Rushdie for years while he raised his eyebrows in the air and went, “Owwooouhhhh.” Less sexy. Overall: B-plus on the bonermeter.

Super chef Padma Lakshmi is packing some big ole meatballs up top as these photos of her at the premiere of Inglorious Basterds will attest. I still haven’t seen her show, but dayum does she wear outfits like this? If so, I may have to upgrade to cable from my set of rabbit ears (and I am not referring to my TV set).

Padma Lakshmi, Chelsea Handler, Lynn Collins, Sharon Lealin, and Eliza Dushku all got naked for ‘women’s’ magazine Allure in what they are calling ‘the Nude Issue’. No idea… anyhoo, this Padma chick is really starting to get her sexy on, what with her amazing Hardee’s commercial and now this photo shoot. Eliza has been doing her best to keep her sexy going as well lately because her show Dollhouse is about in the crapper. As for Chelsea, Lynn and Sharon, whatever… they’re naked. Not to be left out, Burger King drew fire this month for its oddly sexualized ad promoting its 99-cent SpongeBob SquarePants Kids Meal (Crispin Porter + Bogusky), which involves the King riffing to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” while a bunch of orthogonallyrumped hotties dance around. The King likes square butts, apparently.

“It’s bad enough when companies use a beloved media character like SpongeBob to promote junk food to children, but it’s utterly reprehensible when that character simultaneously promotes objectified, sexualized images of women,” fumed Susan Linn, the director of Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood.

Any minute now, Ronald McDonald is going to mount a stripper pole.
