For some reason, these Giants-Dodgers series seem to bring out the worst in people. Yesterday, we showed you video of a young boy who was upset after not getting a foul ball. Later, a rather kind Giants employee came by and rewarded his mini tantrum with a souvenir.

And now, today, we have video of a Giants employee who’s um…not so kind. The uploader of the clip allegedly claims this drunk woman was telling fans she worked for the team. Watch as she berates these Dodgers fans sitting near her.

For what it’s worth, that is NOT how you use slow motion. Please advise for those times in the future when you catch other drunk fans doing stupid things. Thank you.

Being handed a ball by stadium staff isn’t the same as catching one off a bat. And while I think it’s a nice gesture by the Giants, it certainly won’t teach this kid any life lessons. That being said, the kid looks thrilled at the end and we all got a great YouTube video to post. So yea, everyone wins. Hooray!

I’ve come to realize that the Gatorade jug is the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde of the sports world. When teams win championships, players reach for the jug and give the coach a Gatorade bukkake-bath in celebration. But when things turn sour, as it did for Brian Wilson, it’s mercifully beaten to a pulp and negatively emptied of its remains.

In these hard economic times, especially for baseball teams, is it financially responsible to waste such expensive items? Why not step on some sunflower seeds or perhaps we can get some Cracker Jack to dispose of (let’s be real, they don’t taste good anyways). Truthfully, if I saw a bankrupt Dodgers squad repeatedly kicking around Gatorade jugs night after night while they bounced checks to employees, I’d probably be a little ticked off.

While attending a Dodgers-Giants game, this man was so annoyed at the female fan behind him that it compelled him to record this two minute diatribe. No doubt the girl’s voice becomes agitating as the video goes on, but it’s certainly not worth making a big fuss about. He even adds insult to injury by calling her fat at the end.

And in her defense, she might be a tad overweight but I wouldn’t go as far as calling her fat. Perhaps big boned’d, but not morbidly obese by any means. As far as I’m concerned, I’m much more bothered by some douchebag in a leather jacket recording himself with a creepy, pedophile look than I am with an overzealous Giants fan.

Japanese golfer Ryo Ishikawa vowed to donate his entire 2011 earnings to disaster relief for his home country. The Barry Bonds trial was fairly quiet yesterday–quiet in the sense that nobody talked about his balls shrinking, his bacne, or his oversized head. One witness though had some damning evidence on Bonds. Randy Velarde, a former MLB player claimed that Bonds’ trainer Greg Anderson injected him about 10 times with steroids. His 12-minute testimony, however, never implicated Bonds himself as Velarde never had any contact with him about illegal substances.

Lyles is being investigated for violations after receiving $25,000 from the University of Oregon. “A few days after the kid’s visit, Will calls and says, ‘If you want this kid, there are other schools that want this kid as well. Late last night, Giants starting pitcher Barry Zito was involved in a two car accident in West Hollywood. Thankfully, it appears he was unhurt, although, he was taken to Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as a precaution. Zito, who has a home near the area isn’t due to pitch til Sunday, so if there are any lingering problems, they should be cleared up by then.

Congratulations to the 2010 World Series champion San Francisco Giants. Though most experts had the Texas Rangers winning it in 6, the Giants pretty much dominated all but one game. This of course goes to show you that the word expert is used, how shall we say, loosely in the media.

The star of the night was Edgar Renteria, whose 3-run dinger in the 7th proved to be all the offense the Giants needed. Tim Lincecum shut the door on the Rangers allowing only one run over 8 innings with 10 K’s. His split finger pitch was nearly un-hittable as several players took swings that resembled something out of a little league game.

Giants fans celebrated their first championship well into the night and some of it was rather violent. Amongst the rioters though were the people who just wanted to enjoy the sticky-icky with some friends. Perhaps even show off their bag of weed on live TV.

Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb didn’t get support from his offensive line Sunday and now it appears he’s not getting it from the coaching staff either. One day after being pulled in favor of Rex Grossman in the late stages of the Lions game, coach Mike Shanahan told the media that McNabb simply isn’t in good enough shape to lead the team during the two-minute drill. Listen, it might have been kosher if that was Elway or Montana coming off the bench to relieve you. But Rex Grossman? To avoid embarrassment, I fully expect Donovan to call it a career today citing major injury.

Arian Foster tried his damndest to duplicate his offensive output in the first game of the season against the Colts. But his 167 total yards last night in a 30-17 loss were no comparison to his 231 on the ground earlier in the year. Had it not been for Foster though, the Texans may have not done any damage on the offensive end. Quarterback Matt Schaub was continually pressured all game long resulting in three sacks and countless hurries and knockdowns.

Raise your hand if you picked the Giants to dominate this World Series. Through the first two games, the Rangers have been outscored 20-7 which included last night’s 9-0 beat down. The teams head to Texas for game three but not before a travel day in between. The Rangers, somehow, need to figure out a way to jump start that anemic offense because, for all intents and purposes, Saturday just became a must-win situation.

Shannon Brown seems to have improved his outside shot over the summer and is a much better defensive option for the Lakers. You could probably argue that Tony Dungy should have won another Super Bowl in his tenure with the Colts. What you can’t argue with was his consistency. In six straight seasons as head coach, the Colts won at least 12 games. This weekend, Dungy, among others, will be part of the Colts Ring of Honor ceremony.

After trailing 21-7 at halftime to FSU, N.C. State mounted a furious comeback in the second half that culminated in a Russell Wilson touchdown pass to George Bryan with 2:40 left. Instead of kicking a field goal to tie the game on 4th down, the Wolfpack opted to go for it from the 1-inch line. The decision proved to be the right one as the play action caught the Seminoles off guard and Bryan found himself alone in the back of the end zone.

John Wall probably hoped his first game as a pro would go a bit better than last night’s affair with the Magic. Orlando jumped out to a huge lead early and Wall’s play amounted to mop-up garbage time. In fairness, he looked solid in 35 minutes of play, although, 6-19 from the field isn’t going to cut it most nights. He chipped in with nine assists and three steals as well.

A 20-year old student manager who was taping the Fighting Irish practice was killed when 51 mph winds knocked over the video tower. There will definitely be questions as to why he was up there in the first place considering the Midwest wind storm of the last few days but for now, thoughts and condolences to this young man’s family.

All the talk in the NFL lately has been helmet-to-helmet hits and concussions. In the same week where James Harrison knocked out two players with violent bone-crunching hits, Lions LB Zack Follett (21 tackles, 12 solo) went down on a rather typical special teams play. The injury, however, was not typical as Follett went on the IR yesterday. Given the upcoming contract negotiations, it’s a wonder if players demand better safety regulations. In this day and age, I found it astounding that a helmet cannot be created that absorbs the blow of a high-impact hit.

Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum was not much better either surrendering four runs in less than six innings of work. It’s early in the NBA campaign but we may have already seen one of the highest scoring games of the year. In regulation time, the Warriors and Rockets played to a 132-128 offensive free-for-all. Highlighted in the game was Monta Ellis’ 46 points on 18-24 shooting.

Roy Halladay didn’t look like himself last night but alas, even 75% of him is good enough to win a playoff road game. Halladay hurt his groin and often rode the bike in between innings to stay loose. His pitch count was abnormally high early and somehow he sneaked out of the 6th inning having thrown 108 total while scattering 6 hits. The teams head back to Philly for Game 6. It’ll be interesting to see if both the Yankees and Phillies can pull off miraculous 3-1 deficits in the same year.

Giants’ ace Tim Lincecum struck out 14 and allowed 2 hits in a complete game shutout Thursday. It obviously wasn’t a no-hitter like Halladay’s just a day before, but an equally impressive performance nonetheless. And good thing Lincecum brought his ‘A’ game too. The Giants could only muster one run in the 4th inning.

This lil guy is from the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California, a yearly event which, in 2008, drew almost 110,000 people. And any love of garlic can be quickly dampened when you look at the horrible genetic mutations the festival creates, such as towel-wielding garlic monsters that look vaguely like Snorks clad in basketball uniforms. I don’t know where this guy is from (other than my wildest fantasies) but I assume it’s something to do with bodybuilding. The only reason to keep this one around is if your other bobbleheads feel underdressed. Or if you own the Lance Bass one.

In fairness, it does have a couple of positives going for it…if you want a bobblehead in a pants suit, this is one you need to consider. And they could just paint the hair a little blonder and reuse it as a Hillary Clinton bobblehead.

My disdain for the King is pretty well known, but I don’t get why this bobblehead needed to exist. You have a marketing concept in The King combined with a marketing concept in the Super Bowl and then add them to another marketing concept in a bobblehead and somewhere, someone is proudly displaying this in their trailer and going, “Yep, this is my pride and joy.” Just glue a Whopper costume to me so I can promote more things for you while you’re at it.

I’m not sure where this Shiva bobblehead came from other than perhaps from the isle of Sacrilege. I understand being proud of your religion, but I’m not sure having a bobblehead version of a God is the way to approach your religion with reverence. Unless the many arms bobbled too. Bobbling arms = class.

An extremely violent looking Jason bobblehead would be a perfect addition to any home. Assuming that if you’re a normal person, you like to be terrified that your bobblehead is going to attack you in the middle of the night after you sleep with a teenage camp counselor or that you want to raise a sociopathic child. Otherwise, you may want to stick to the limited edition John Wayne Gacy bobbleheads…at least he’s dressed up like a clown.

This doesn’t even look like Bernie Mac to me. It might just be a reused Eddie Murphy for all I can tell. On the plus side, at least this version of Bernie Mac can still move. Too soon?

Reddit’s awesome and all but I think I’d rather have a bobblehead version of Michael J. Fox on my desk rather than one of any social news site’s mascot.
