Sexual harassment is a serious issue, unfortunately when you search for “sexual harassment” on any stock photo website, some images take it to a new level — one that makes you feel like the photo is sexually harassing YOU.

For those weren’t aware, there’s been a debate raging on gaming message boards and blogs for the past few, regarding professional fighting gamers and the stuff that comes out of their mouths. Which in this case relates to what a guy said to his female cohort in Cross Assault, the Street Fighter X Tekken reality show.

Now that the dust has settled, time for normal people (aka our fine Guysim audience) to learn what the deal is, in easy to digest, hyperbole free chunks: on the aforementioned Capcom reality program, one guy has gotten a ton of flack over some super questionable, and flat out creepy things said to his female teammate.

The following video has the male in question, Aris Bakhtanians, constantly giving Miranda “Super Yan” Pakozdi a hard time over her gender…

As is often the case, some of the jokes uttered would be totally fine if they were made by someone close, like a boyfriend, brother, or long-time pal. Not some dude that she’s involved with on a reality show (and that’s driven by video games, making it all the weirder). Add in the fact that these questionable comments come one after another and another, plus how everything is being live-streamed… you get my point.

But the real controversy stems from how Pakozdi forfeited a match, due to mental distress from all of Bakhtanians’s verbal abuse. While many are in Pakozdi’s corner, not surprisingly, many have also excused Bakhtanians’ behavior by stating, hey, comes with the territory.

The dude is actually her team leader, and many believe that he was just trying to toughen her up, much like a hard-assed drill sergeant. You know, like in Full Metal Jacket? So part of the debate has been whether or not if he actually meant any ill will towards his statements. I personally don’t think so, yet I also believe there’s truth in every joke.

Also, not to bring looks into the equation, but if you’re a huge hairy fat guy like Bakhtanians, picking on slim and slender girl like Pakozdi, it’s going to look bad regardless. Speaking of which, another major point of contention is how she supposedly asked him to cut it out, and the big man refused. Not cool and not smart.

Yet defenders of men’s rights to spout dumb things at women have been quick to point out that Pakozdi’s behavior during the verbal assault somewhat contradicts her after the fact accusations of sexual harassment, since her reaction in the video above, and in other instances, is to just giggle and basically go “Oh you guys.”

But what else is she supposed to do? She knows that he’s saying stuff to get under her skin, since it’s a competition and all. Yet with that in mind, perhaps she herself should not allow herself to ultimately get so upset over the statement’s themselves? Hence why this is actually a complicated issue, and not necessarily so black and white, as many online pundits would like you to believe.

Though ultimately, such stupid behavior is, well, stupid. And I’m not saying that Bakhtanians and his cohorts are indicative of all gamers out there, but it sure doesn’t helpall the negative stereotypes they have. But unfortunately, there’s sexism everywhere. It’s not a defense, just a fact.

I know whenever I’ve stepped foot in a Waffle House, I’ve thought, “Damn, this place is classy and full of hot chicks.” Well keep your pants on as best you can while I tell you this tale of Jennifer Pulsifer, a woman accused of sexually harassing a female coworker at a Waffle House in Louisiana.

Louisiana police say that Pulsifer, 32, fondled the female coworker at a Waffle House where the pair worked in the town of Mandeville.

According to the police report, Pulsifer allegedly “ran her hand between the victim’s legs and caressed the woman’s genitals while she was bending down to pick up some change that had fallen on the floor.”

The victim “expressed her displeasure” — though it’s unclear what exactly that entailed — but ignored the situation.

Pulsifer continued to make sexual remarks to the victim, but the final straw was when she put her hand down the victim’s bra and fondled her breast in front of witnesses.

The victim then quit her job and filed charges with local police.

Pulsifer was booked on one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery. She was already being held in jail for unrelated drug charges.

Sexual harassment isn’t okay. But still, if this were between two attractive ladies, it becomes a hot sapphic version of that Michael Douglas/Demi Moore movie, “Disclosure”. And now it’s boner-killing time. Here’s the pic of Ms. Pulsifer.

When Olveira responded with indignation and throwing the bag int he garbage, Mansi allegedly told her, “Come on, girl. You don’t know how to enjoy your life.”

Mansi told the Daily News that the lawsuit is nothing more than an attempt at blackmail.

And here I was thinking that giving a dildo would be a perfect gift for all the women in my life. Girlfriend, friends, grandma. A manager at one of City Island’s best-known seafood joints was slimier than an eel, subjecting a waitress to a barrage of offensive comments, including a come-on to “turn my shrimp into a lobster,” court papers allege.

According to a lawsuit filed today in Bronx Supreme Court, waitress Rosemarie Ferranti, 28, was fired after she complained about the treatment her supervisor, Lanni Liapis, subjected her to at the Lobster Box on City Island Avenue.

“It’s all true. He ruined me,” Ferranti told The Post today.

“He grabbed his penis and said, ‘Come over here. I want you to turn my shrimp into a lobster,” the court papers say.

Ferranti also claims another female employee joined in and Liapis told them to have sex and he would join in.

“Can I have some fun with you?” the woman asked, while grabbing Ferranti’s crotch, the suit alleges.

Liapis also allegedly told Ferranti, “All women belong on their knees.”

Former NY1 reporter Adele Sammarco is suing the news station, alleging that an environment of sexual harassment ruined her career there. Her case was strengthened yesterday when a former colleague revealed her butt-related nickname. But: insiders have their doubts.

[Former news assistant Jeff Carey] testified that Sammarco was regularly referred to as “BBB” or “Big Butt Booty” by her male colleagues.

Sexual harassment happens more than you’d think based upon the prominence of women on society. But usually, it’s not quite as brazen as what allegedly happened at the hands and mouth of Christopher Mendoza, a manager at Ruby Tuesday in Pennsylvania.

Sexually charged comments were an unwelcome part of the job at Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Stroudsburg, according to six women who filed a complaint in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Last week the six plaintiffs settled with Ruby Tuesday’s Stroudsburg restaurant for $225,000.

General Manager Christopher Mendoza made sexually charged remarks to adult and teen female employees. Sometimes he also remarked about customers, according to the complaint filed in August 2008.

Looking at a pregnant customer, Mendoza allegedly said: “She must be really horny. My wife was always horny. I am surprised my kids don’t have problems with all the times we’ve had sex,” the complaint states.

I’m all for supporting the beauty of life in the form of a pregnant woman. It’s a wonderful thing, blah blah. But if you see a pregnant woman and start getting turned on, you’re due one cold hard look in the mirror. I’d be more likely to get aroused by sticking my genitals into Ruby Tuesday’s Steak and Lobster Macaroni and Cheese than I would by looking at a pregnant lady.

But oh wait, there’s more!

[Former waitress Michelle] Gydosh said that from August 2006 onward, Mendoza repeatedly made embarrassing sexual remarks about her body, such as “your breasts look good today” or “your breasts look really nice.”

According to the complaint, Mendoza constantly told Gydosh that she was “hot” and that he wanted to “make a porn video” with her.

Mendoza propositioned Gydosh, telling her he “wanted to throw her over the counter and (expletive) her,” and repeatedly told her what he would do to her sexually if he were not a married man.

Well, we all have different ways of complimenting someone. Sometimes it means saying their outfit looks nice. Sometimes it means saying they smell good. And sometimes it means saying you’d like to have them shamed on camera by not only having sex with you on film, but also doing it in a Ruby Tuesday. It’s like getting a 2 for 1 deal on her dignity.

In June 2007, Gydosh became ill during her shift and a co-worker asked Mendoza if Gydosh could go home.

“All she needs is a good (expletive) up her (expletive), and I’d be good for that,” Mendoza replied, according to the complaint.

Well then. I don’t know where he learned this unconventional method of treating an illness, but at least he cares.

A Cedar Falls man who repeated a gag from the “Seinfeld” show while at work has been fired for sexual harassment.

It’s the second case of an Iowan being fired for harassment stemming from an episode of the popular comedy series.

In the most recent case, John Preston and several of his co-workers at the Brain Injury Association of Iowa attended an outdoor retreat in July 2008. During the event, one of the female workers told her colleagues that whenever she or her husband sneezed, the other would respond by saying, “You are so good looking.”

A week after the retreat, Preston allegedly sent the female worker who initiated the joke a series of e-mails in which he reiterated that she was good looking.

The woman complained to her superiors, and Preston was cautioned about such comments. A few weeks later, Preston allegedly stopped the woman in a hallway at work and massaged her shoulders while speaking to her. That generated another complaint, and early this year Preston confronted the woman at a work-related event.

The case is similar to the 2004 firing of Ronald Knight, who worked as a manager at the Fareway grocery store in Shenandoah. Knight allegedly told a female subordinate that he had heard she was drunk and running naked through the streets the previous night. He also implied that her forgetfulness was due to lack of sex, and he telephoned her at home and asked what she was wearing.

Knight claimed that he was simply repeating comments heard on a “Seinfeld” show and that the remarks were made in jest. He was denied unemployment benefits.

Um, yeah, so I’m pretty sure that I missed the episode that this article references in regards to the 2004 firing of Ronald Knight. While I appreciate Knight’s efforts in blaming someone other than himself for being an idiot, I feel like an episode in which a female ran around naked and was then told by George that it was due to her lack of sex as he called her, panting into the phone and touching himself, would probably have been seared into my memory.

As for Mr. Preston, you might be able to blame the “You are so good looking” cracks on an episode of Seinfeld and an inside joke. But once you start massaging shoulders and confronting people about not sleeping with you, you’ve pretty much left joke territory. And entered the strategy I typically use for courtship. Nothing gets the panties dropping faster than a little poorly timed, unwanted massage and confrontation. It’s like my life is a Jackie Collins novel.

A disgraced federal judge was sentenced yesterday to nearly three years in prison for lying to investigators about sexually abusing two female employees, who said that they feared him so much they hid from him in the courthouse.

U.S. District Judge Samuel Kent stared at the floor while the women described years of harassment and abuse at the Galveston courthouse, where he wielded great authority as the only federal judge.

Cathy McBroom, Kent’s former case manager, said that he had “bragged” about his ability to intimidate people. “He told me everyone was afraid of him.” McBroom’s complaint began the case, which expanded when allegations from the judge’s secretary Donna Wilkerson were added.

McBroom said that making the complaint had been “incredibly stressful” and led to the breakup of her marriage and the loss of her home. She said that it had forced her to give up what she considered her dream job and put her entire life under a public and legal microscope.

“One would think I was the criminal,” said McBroom, 50.

Wilkerson told of seven years of abuse by Kent and said that he had tried to molest her on her fifth day on the job. Responding to defense allegations that she had been a willing partner in a romantic affair, she said, “Being molested and groped by a drunken giant is not my idea of an affair.”

[Kent's attorney, Dick DeGuerin] DeGuerin has said that the judge was retiring due to a disability, which is the only way a judge Kent’s age could leave the bench and keep his $169,300-a-year salary. Retired federal judges collect their full salaries for the remainder of their lives; judges who resign get nothing.

Wait, so I can molest someone and get $170,000 a year? And I’ve been doing it for free for all these years? I knew I should have gone to law school instead of…uh, well I didn’t really do anything in it’s place so, uh, instead of not going to law school. Plus then I could insist everyone refer to me as Chris, Esq. Finally all the titular pleasure of hanging out with Robin Hood without any of the giving money to the poor.

You don’t know how many times I’ve tried the, “Oh, it was a willing affair,” defense but it can go either way. For example, it doesn’t work well when the girl can’t talk. Hey, it’s not my fault that love happened at that Helen Keller sound-alike festival. As my fair lady said, “Ahhhhheeeeeeeeyyyyyahhhhhhh,” which either translates to “I love him” or “My ass is bleeding and painful.” Oh if only we knew which.
