Dogs bite people sometimes and, if it’s bad enough, the dog might get put down. It’s sad, but so are a lot of things. But what about when your partially blind dog bites your husband so bad that he dies? Well, if you’re this British woman, you go, “Eh, it happens” and keep the dog.

A father died after being nipped by his dog during a game of fetch.

Steven Sewell, 55, was on holiday in the Scottish Highlands with his wife Angela and teenage son David when the family’s partially blind dog Judy bit him.

The retired teacher patched up the small wound with tissue and carried on as normal because he was not in any pain.

However, an inquest has heard how he began complaining of shivers and sickness a few days later.

He was taken to hospital, where doctors diagnosed blood poisoning, and he died a few days later after the infection spread to his brain.

The family say the dog has never behaved aggressively, and are keeping her in spite of the freak accident.

Mrs Sewell, 53, said of the incident: ‘It was not vicious. It was just bad eyesight and tragic, but you have to accept it and move on.’

I don’t know how this story didn’t get a seven camera shoot from CNN since it’s arguably the greatest tragedy in years and it was actually real unlike a certain little kid and his fake balloon-related shenanigans. This is a fat teen and he can’t get out of a skate bowl in Spain.

That’s so traumatic that the kid can’t get out as about a hundred people gather and laugh at him. It could have been worse though. I mean, that’s hideously embarrassing, but at least he had people being patient and trying to help him. I’d have probably just laid a hamburger at the top of the ramp and hoped he’d somehow inspire himself. As the saying goes, “If you teach a fat man to fish, he’ll eat the whole ocean” or something similar yet less hurtful.

Reports published in PNG’s Post Courier newspaper have highlighted a spate of abuses, intimidation and rapes of women known to be infected with HIV/AIDS in Mt Hagen, in Western Highlands Province.

A donated house in the town has become a refuge for 13 women using antiretroviral drugs to combat HIV/AIDS, but the women say they are constantly attacked by drunks and local men.

An unnamed woman, who was recently raped by a schoolboy, told the Post Courier that men were forcing their way into the refuge to rape regardless of the women’s illness.

“We are totally confused why they keep coming here, looking for us despite our status,” she said.

I have to admit, it kind of bummed me out when she started crying at the end. Usually I’m the one crying after getting mounted by a fat girl, so it’s perplexing to me to see the inverse represented on camera. Prosecutors told jurors Monday that a Texas woman accused of cutting off her infant son’s genitals two years ago was a drug abuser who showed no remorse or concern for her child as he was on the verge of death.

Katherine Nadal’s defense attorneys, however, said an expert will back up the 28-year-old woman’s claim it could have been the family dog, a 6-to-7 pound dachshund, that mutilated her son in their suburban Houston apartment in March 2007.

Camden Gothia, Holden’s father, testified that when Nadal came back, she was “not sober.” Nadal, who authorities say has a history of drug abuse and has prior drug arrests, later tested positive for cocaine, methadone and another drug.

Doctors who examined Holden will testify the genitals were cut in a perfect square by a sharp instrument, [prosecutor] Oncken told jurors. An animal control officer who examined the dog found no blood in its mouth, on its fur or on its paws, she said. Camden Gothia said the dog was not aggressive.

Allen Isbell, another attorney for Nadal, told jurors investigators did not find DNA or blood evidence on any instrument or sharp object they tested or in the sink or the garbage disposal.

“There is another reasonable explanation for the injuries to this child,” Isbell said. “An expert on dog behavior … will testify that in her opinion it is possible a dog could have made those injuries.”

I know parenting is hard, which is why I’ve skillfully dodged it with pseudonyms and really long flights of stairs. But man, there’s really got to be a sense of decorum with how you treat your kid. You can’t just go dragging kids around like this, no matter how terrible they are. Unless you’re stealing them from someone else and you just lasso’d him in. A 40-year-old woman has been found dead in a machine at a Southern California food processing plant that is a major supplier for McDonald’s restaurants.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives say the woman’s body was found early Tuesday at Golden State Foods in the City of Industry, an east Los Angeles suburb. Investigators believe her death was accidental.

No other details were given about her death or about the woman except that she was an employee.

The Irvine-based company has distribution centers across the nation. Its Web site says the company supplies McDonald’s and developed the sauce for the restaurant’s Big Mac in the 1960s.

Okay so I’m thinking I’m alone on this one, but I don’t think I’d be so skeeved out if I ate something delicious and then they were like, “GOTCHA THAT WAS HUMAN MEAT!” I’d probably ask if I knew the person, but so long as it was some delicious Polynesian boy who didn’t have a whole lot going for him or something, I’d probably quickly make peace with it. Authorities said a man has died after falling into a vat of melted chocolate in a New Jersey processing plant.

A spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said the 29-year-old temporary worker at Cocoa Services Inc. plant fell after a blade used to mix raw chocolate hit him. The man’s name has not been released.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. today as the worker was loading raw chocolate into the vat where it’s melted and mixed before being shipped elsewhere to be made into candy products.

Well then, if you get a chocolate bar that tastes like a filthy factory worker or if when you open your candy bar, you hear the sounds of screaming stifled by rich chocolate (and nougat!!) then I guess you’ll know where it came from.

For all the chocolate lovers out there who have said, “That’s how I’d like to go,” I bet you learned a powerful lesson about your hyperbole. I love vaginas, it doesn’t mean that I’d like to die in a barrel full of them. Plus, how did they all get into that barrel? That couldn’t possibly be legal. What a terrible situation all around.

Phoenix police arrested a man in Phoenix on Monday on suspicion of raping an unconscious woman live on a popular video hosting Web site.

According to a court document, on Feb. 26, 2009, at about 5 a.m., 20-year-old Jonathan Hock set up the webcam built into his laptop and broadcast live as he sexually assaulted a woman whom he knew for less than a month as she lay in bed unconscious. The victim had reportedly been asleep for up to six hours before the assault occurred.

While being interviewed by Phoenix police, the woman said she became aware of the assault after friends text messaged her about the video. According to a court document, the woman then found pictures on the Web site of Hock lying next to her as she was asleep and naked from the waist down.

Phoenix police issued a search warrant for the Web site’s content to try to obtain the live video of the assault. In the video, Hock reportedly made comments about him being able to commit the assault without her knowledge while he performed various sexual acts, according to the court document.

Police say Hock is allegedly very popular on the site for his sexual behavior, and they said information they received through the investigation indicates there may have been similar acts of this type involving this suspect.

This is appalling. I’d expect much more reasonable behavior from a group of anonymous Internet individuals gathering around online watching a stranger take part in bizarre sexual activity. If I can’t trust several dozen guys jerking off in their rooms to another man’s sexual deviancy, who can I trust? I expect much more from Rapingoncamera.org.

It takes a special brand of sociopath to rape a woman. It takes an even more special kind of maniac to film it live online for the world to see. Tampa, Florida – Page 219 of the brand new school yearbook is all the talk at Sickles High School in Citrus Park.

“There’s a picture of a girl in the club pages,” said senior Xander Morehouse.

The picture is of a student with, what some are saying, are her private parts showing.

And it is published in the school yearbook.

“When I saw it, I kind of flipped out. I was like, ‘Oh my God’, but I think that she’s probably like really horrified,” said sophomore Caitlin Darden.

10 Connects caught up with the 16-year-old in the photo – and her mother Jeanette. The young girl admits she didn’t wear underwear that day but says it was because she didn’t want her panty lines to show. She says she did not show herself like that on purpose, “Absolutely not. It is ridiculously embarrassing.”

“All of the administrators are trying to downplay it and saying I should really laugh it off and come back to school but I’ve been humiliated,” said the junior who will not return to school for the rest of the year.

Now while it’s pretty much against everything I stand for to say that we need to allow a young woman to keep her vagina hidden from public view, telling her she needs to just “laugh it off” is kind of fed. Having your cooch flopping around or whatever verb it is that vaginas do is pretty embarrassing. Especially if she were, um, less than groomed as she may be based upon reports of it “being a shadow.” Because if it is that fuzzy and afrolike, it shouldn’t be seen in public unless it has a pick in its hair and says lots of jive talking expressions.

A Georgia teen is facing child cruelty charges after an online video showed a young man launching a baby several feet across a room using an inflatable pillow.

The video posted on YouTube shows the boy putting a baby on one side of a large yellow pillow and then jumping on the pillow, sending the child flying several feet across the floor, where the baby lands and cries.

“He really had no explanation — just thought it would be funny to put it on YouTube,” Col. Duane Sepp of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office told FOX News. “It’s all about, I guess, that five seconds of glory or whatever, and it’s terrible it has to happen at the cost of an 8-month-old child.”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of abortions…first trimester, second, sixth, really any. But this just seems like a classless way to go about it. Killing babies isn’t supposed to be FUN. It’s supposed to be businesslike. Kids these days. No respect for nothin’.
