Here’s the statement from Board of Directors Chairman Burns Hargis:

“The Big 12 Presidents and Chancellors are excited to welcome another outstanding institution to the Conference,” said Burns Hargis, Chair of the Big 12 Board of Directors and President of Oklahoma State University. “The addition of West Virginia, while expanding the reach of the Big 12, brings an impressive institution with esteemed academics and a proud athletic tradition into the Conference. This is another step in building a strong foundation for the future of the Big 12.”

Although Missouri has not formally left the conference, it’s only a matter of time—the proverbial dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. On the other side, this leaves the Big East in a precarious position as they’ve sent invites to several different schools and lost three traditional powerhouses in Syracuse, Pittsburgh and WVU.

The landscape of college athletics is rapidly changing and by the end of the year I suspect we’ll have at least two mega conferences before it’s all said and done.

West Virginia University To Join Big 12 Conference [Big 12]

[Sheriff's Deputy R.] Mellinger stated he observed Melissa to be naked from the waist down, sitting in a living room chair, inside Danny’s apartment.

According to the complaint, Danny [Williams, the woman's estranged spouse] and [James] Watson told Mellinger that Melissa [Williams] came to the apartment intoxicated, asked each of them to perform a sexual act on her and took off her pants and underwear, which Mellinger observed lying on the floor at her feet.

Danny stated that he declined the invitation, however, Watson agreed he would perform at her request. The complaint states that as Watson approached Melissa, he became overwhelmed by horrible vaginal odor and declined to precede any further.

It was at this point Melissa allegedly produced a lock-back folding knife, pointed it at Danny and stated, “somebody is going to [perform a sexual act on me] or I’m going to cut your [expletive] throat.”

Police said that Campbell was found with his shirt off and his pants around his ankles, holding an armless mannequin on his lap.

Campbell held the mannequin steady with one hand. With the other hand, he was fapping away until a sheriff’s deputy identified himself. Campbell then shoved the mannequin off his lap and pulled his pants up in an effort to avoid being arrested.

In case you’re wondering what a gentleman of upstanding stock like Mr. Campbell looks like, you can see a photo of him here (yes, he looks exactly like you’re imagining right now).

Abstractly, I guess I can get why a man would find himself intimate with a mannequin; they’re like a woman, only without the chatter or ability to say “No thanks.” But if you’re going to find a mannequin to sexually satisfy you with, what’s the point of not having one with arms? That just seems limiting. Plus, you could always just take an actual armless person and accomplish the same things. Amputees: Nature’s fap towel.

If you were comparing the Wildcat girls to the rest of the Pac 10, then you’d have a problem. But in comparison to some of the heifers in the Big East and ACC, their resume is just too strong to overlook.

Speaking of heifers in the ACC, what the hell is going on in Maryland? Not only can they not compete on the basketball court, but they’re struggling mightily in the women department.

Usually you don’t associate West Virginia with hot women. But I was pleasantly surprised with some of the talent the Mountaineers had to offer. A strong showing which boosts them into one of the last teams in.

I was torn on this one. The amount of respect I have for you goes up tenfold when you visit the local hooters. On top of that, the selection committee will look favorably on the “flexibility” of their teams.
