Barbara Walters interviews the Ninja Turtles

Barbara Walters was once the purported beacon of interesting interviews on celebrities. But her journalistic skills were never quite as apparent as in this video, an interview with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

That’s pretty callous for Barbara Walters to laugh (cackle? screech?) like that at poor Donatello’s lack of parents. I don’t know where she went to interview school, but compassion goes a lot further than complete contempt for your subject. It seemed like she and Donatello were hitting it off too. She’s a saucy single gal and I can’t imagine she’s swimming in gentleman callers. I wouldn’t be so shocked if Donatello’s staff got a bit of coochie cobwebs on it shortly after the cameras stopped rolling.
