BILL MALLORY FIRES MSU UP

As Indiana faces off against MSU tomorrow for the Old Brass Spitoon, its hard to think that both of these schools once stood atop the BigTen.

Indiana, which does not have a winning record against any Big Ten school somehow managed to play for the Big Ten Title against MSU in 1987.

After losing the game, Indiana coach Bill Mallory visited the locker room to address MSU Coaches and players.

Its not often we see this type of sportsmanship from any single individual. I can’t imagine the type of hype this would receive from ESPN, SI, or Foxsports if it happened today.
