Bulletproof vest proves to be not bulletproof

This video is really a testament to American stupidity and ingenuity. Some kids think it’d be smart to shoot a friend with a gun while he wears a bulletproof vest. Apparently it didn’t work quite as well as he’d hope.

Granted, you can’t be too pleased with yourself after thinking this was a good idea, but shouldn’t bulletproof vests do, you know, what they’re supposed to? If I buy a pot to cook soup in, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to hope that it wouldn’t vomit back scalding water at me or rape my mother. Maybe that’s my real problem…I’m just too much of an idealist.
