Chris McCosky: "Bloggers just arent journalists"
Oddly enough, for the first time in McCosky’s journalistic career, he has a must-read column.
Bloggers just arent journalists
I wont even bother to highlight any part of his column. It will take away from its complete ignorance if you dont read the whole thing.
By the way, for those that are reading this blog, if you think Im a journalist you’re either
a) an idiot
b) have an IQ somewhere in the “forrest gump” range
c) cant read english well(sorry Dad, Im not a journalist)
If you dont care what I have to say, you can
a) leave
b) not read the site
c) f&*# off
See Chris, you missed the boat buddy. By spelling out things that are so obvious to the general public, you are in essence, insulting their intelligence.
Is it really hard to figure out that “Pistonfan4life” on a message board doesnt have inside info?
Is it really hard to figure out that he probably didnt talk to anybody and to take what he says with a grain of salt?
Its the same when you are with a group of friends and someone says,
“oh, did you hear so and so slept with that guy”
That’s just a rumor.
If you dont want to listen to it, then you can walk away and not partake in the conversation. The fact you address these blogs tells us that you indeed “read them” and thus, are partaking in them.
Oh, and by the way, Rob Parker of your newspaper referenced sports blogs and the internet last night on Sports Final edition when addressing the Joel Zumaya rumor.
