Dad wants a picture before he drives you to the hospital

A 14-year-old in Florida was taken to the hospital for a few vicious barracuda bites that required over 50 stitches yesterday, but not before dad could snap a few pics of his obviously traumatized daughter.

No reason to rush her to the ER when her face is telling you “Yeah, I’ve got this under control. I’m taking this really well” Although how would you expect someonw to react after a 4 foot long Barracuda leapt from the water and tore apart your arm? I’d say she is taking a lot better than dad is considering she’s probably been bleeding for a good hour after being on a deep sea fishing trip.

I wouldn’t usually reprimand someone here for their parenting skills (I usually wait to do that in person) but this picture seems a bit superfluous. They’ve already docked the boat their are several other pictures of this ordeal that precede this one, and the daughter’s face pretty much sums up the fact that the Kodak moment has more than passed at this point. Probably could have done without this one.

“Just let Daddy weight this baby, collect my prize money, get a picture shaking the mayor’s hand, maybe peruse the bait shop for a new reel, drive this barracuda over to get it mounted so we can put it over the fireplace and remember this day forever, and maybe we’ll drive you over to the hospital if there’s any time left.”
