todd IOWA PLAYER FINISHES SEASON WITH ZERO FREE THROW ATTEMPTS

I realize that the landscape of college basketball has changed. The drive and kick out for the three pointer is now a staple in the game. Todd Lickliter, who had a huge amount of success at Butler parlayed that into a head coaching gig at Iowa.

Now, I’m not knocking the three pointer here. No doubt its an effective weapon.

But when a guy on your team plays over 600 minutes in a 31 game season and all but one of his baskets is a three pointer, well then, maybe your system isn’t working.

And to top that off, Devan Bawinkel shot ZERO free throws on the season.

The man averaged 20 minutes a game and he didn’t accidentally pump fake somebody and draw a foul?

He didn’t shoot technical foul free throws for his team?

Come on, is that really possible?

What'd you think of this?
