ISIAH THOMPSON HAD A BAD DAY

No doubt Isiah has had a bad run the last few years. But nothing, nothing could have been as bad as what happened to him yesterday.

FIU decided at the last minute that Isiah Thomas wasn’t good enough to be their coach. Instead they went with seldom known Isiah Thompson.

I’ve yet to find a wiki of this guy and I have no idea what his coaching record is, but FIU seems to like him…

And if you missed this, Isiah Thompson answered some questions from ESPN yesterday. Far be it for me to defend Isiah since he’s basically become internet fodder the last couple of years, but this is the most unprofessional interview I’ve ever seen.

She rarely asked a question about FIU and continued to grill him about the suicide attempt…

I love the double standard here.

When TO went to the Bills, did ESPN ask about his overdose on pills? When John Calipari went to Kentucky, did ESPN grill him about cheating at Memphis and UMASS?

Hey Chris McKendry, this isn’t 60 minutes. He came on to do an interview about being FIUs new basketball coach.

Tone it down.
