NORTHERN IOWA FAILS MISERABLY

Iowa did their best to hand their in-state rival (insert chuckle here) a victory. I mean, they did everything they could. They even blocked a field goal and then decided that it would be a bad idea to pick it up, thus, giving Northern yet another shot to win…

But in their ultimate wisdom, Northern decided that blocking people on a field goal attempt is not in their best interests.

(Somewhere in the heat of the Arizona sun, I’m sure Kurt Warner forgot to say his prayers….shame on you Kurt)

So with 1 second left, Northern set up for another field goal. And it was blocked again.

The ultimate fail. How Lion-esque of them.

Oh yea, by the way, Kirk Ferentz….you’re a lucky SOB
