Quote of the Day

Some guy won the lottery after promising his son he’d buy him a toy shop if he ever won the lottery. Bad news, kid…your father’s a liar. I look forward to this traumatizing you for years.

A MAN who promised to buy his eldest son a toy shop if he won the Lottery had to backtrack when he scooped more than £1million.

Mark Myatt and wife Trina, of Hemel Hempstead, instead took sons Alexander, eight, and Oliver, three, toy shopping.

Mr Myatt, 39, a builder, said: “I did have to do a bit of backtracking although he has still done very well. He now has the Lego Star Wars Death Star set worth £300.

“Oliver chose a huge Thomas the Tank Engine train set – you can’t move for toys in our house.”
