A Republican committeewoman in Florida named Carol Carter is about to lose her job thanks to a comment about black people coming to DC to see Barack Obama’s inauguration versus evacuation New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina. Say what you will about the obvious racism and lack of concern for the victims of Katrina, but it’s a pretty witty comment for a southern Republican woman.

How can 2,000,000 blacks get into Washington, DC in 1 day in sub zero temps when 200,000 couldn’t get out of New Orleans in 85 degree temps with four days notice?
