Rating systems

Via Abtruse Goose comes this comic about why getting online rating systems in real life might be a traumatic experience for us all.

God could you imagine how awful it’d be? Especially if the comments were anonymous? Anonymous comments on the Internet are probably the meanest thing on Earth, and that’s when people don’t even really know you. A scorned lover with actual ammunition to hate you and a cloak of anonymity? That could probably strip you down to your very soul and leave you wanting to jump in front of a bus. That’s why I wear a t-shirt with all my shortcomings on the back at all times. It just happens to look like a regular plain white t-shirt.
