Signs you may need a new doctor
Chris Spags Ideally, discretion is a key part of any doctor’s repertoire. Usually, that doesn’t include showing off pictures of your genitals.
Mayo Clinic Hospital administrators said Dr. Adam Hansen, chief resident of general surgery, admitted taking the photo with his cell phone on Dec. 11. The tattoo on strip club owner Sean Dubowik’s penis reads: “Hot Rod.”
Dubowik, who had undergone a gallbladder operation, said he learned of the photo Monday when the Mayo Clinic called.
Dubowik, 27, said Hansen told him he took the picture while inserting a catheter into his penis. A member of the surgical staff made an anonymous call about the photo to The Arizona Republic on Monday.
“He told me he didn’t want me to read about it in the newspaper first,” Dubowik said.
First of all, damn you Internet for not having any hi-res photos of Dr. Giggles. Bastards.
Getting “Hot Rod” tattooed on your penis is pretty bold though. I’d be pretty proud of my doctor showing it off, as though it were a work of majesty that lived up to my tattooed hype. I’d also get a piercing and have it read “Objects in mirror may be larger than they appear.” Then I’d chuckle. Chuckle until I cried. I may understand ironic humor, but I’m not sure if my penis does.
