The girl that got banned from alcohol in Britain has quit drinking
A few weeks ago we gave you the story about Laura Hall, a British woman who was banned from buying alcohol in Britain. Well she has told the media that she is quitting the drinking once and for all and says that the drinking ban made her drink more than she ever has before.
Last time we told you about the 20-year-old, she had just been given a two-year ban on stepping foot in the bars in Britain, but we weren’t given any details in to what may have caused that. Well…

Laura Hall, from Bromsgrove in Worcestershire, has 38 convictions for alcohol-related offences, mainly for being drunk and disorderly.
38 convictions! I assume that means that there were probably more charges that may have gotten dropped along the way. How is somebody getting this drunk? What is she drinking to get her into this much trouble?
She admitted to breaching the DBO and being drunk and disorderly on 16 May after being spotted by police sitting on a wall outside a Bromsgrove nightclub holding a can of beer.
She was fined £100 and required to pay £85 in legal fees and a £15 victim’s surcharge.
Five days later she was drunk in public after consuming a bottle of wine, a 70cl (1.2pint) bottle of vodka and several cans of lager.
Say what? Wow. This girl probably could drink you and I under the table. And then over the table. And probably everywhere that wasn’t a bar in Wales or England. But she says she is quitting for good after last week’s episode, when she got tipsy and started a fight with someone in an ambulance. Yep, she was giving a paramedic the business and that was the last blurry straw. She is now third on the waiting list for an alcohol treatment class.
She said she did not “go out with the intention of getting arrested” but alcohol made her abusive and she tended to lash out at the police as a rule.
Wait, who are the two people in front of her for that alcohol class? How could anybody need more help than this girl? 38 convictions and there are still people ahead of her on the list to get help? I certainly hope they’re named Dean Martin and Lindsay Lohan. And for the kicker, Hall has twin sisters, who I am sure just love all this attention. I bet those poor girls need a note just to buy mouthwash in Britain these days.
Good luck, Ms. Hall. For everyone’s sake, I hope that this works.
