5 NCAA teams have stayed in the Lions locker room since they opened Ford Field

and all 5 have lost.

MSU lost to UK in the “Basketbowl” (2003)
Villanova lost to Kansas (2008)
Wisconsin lost to Davidson (2008)
Davidson lost to Kansas (2008)
UCONN lost to MSU (2009)

For you sports fans at home, that would make the Lions Locker room 0-13 for the 2008-2009 year.

In fact, the last time a team stayed in that locker room and won was the Lions victory over Kansas City on Dec 23rd of 2007.

This does not bode well for North Carolina who apparently pissed off the karma Gods and will have to stay there for tonight’s game.
