In typical Ball State alum David Letterman Fashion, I give you the Top Ten Reasons why Ball State deserves to be in the BCS.

10. Because those kids deserve better than having to be in Muncie, Indiana their whole lives

9. The MAC is a better conference than you think. Ask Illinois, Indiana, Michigan…oh wait, those are just crappy Big Ten Teams

8. Because if you google Ball State with safe search off, this is the second picture that comes up

7. Alum Joyce DeWitt might actually come out of hiding at the game and tell us how much she hates Suzanne Sommers

6. We’d get to see really flexible cheerleaders

5. Because if you don’t, Jason Whitlock will write about racism in the BCS and how hip-hop music is the cause

4. They must have fate on their side because how often does somebody drop a touchdown this easy

3. Screw the BCS, thats why

2. Four words: Boise State versus Oklahoma

1. Maybe, just maybe, the “Boom goes the dynamite” guy comes out of retirement to give us highlights.
