UNASSISTED TRIPLE PLAY ENDS GAME
A. Isaac I guess the fact that this happened to end a game is a big deal. To me, whoop de doo. An unassisted triple play is more about luck than it is about skill.
Literally, you stand there, the ball comes straight at you, you step on the bag and you tag the runner.
A little leaguer could do it.
So what’s the big deal then? Because its so rare?
Ok, how many times has somebody hit a 90 footer in a basketball game? How many times has there been a run of 90 or more yards in a football game…
Aren’t those just as rare and yet, a hell of a lot more exciting…
But oh I forgot, this is America’s sport. Enjoy it!
