United Airlines breaks dude's guitar, he writes song
Chris Spags Some guy got his $3500 guitar broken by the chimps at United Airlines who handle the baggage and he responded in a clever way…WITH THE POWER OF SONG.
Good for Dave Carroll, the guy in the video. At the same time, I can’t fault United for smashing the guitar. Did we really need another country music act complaining about the travails of life? I’m thinking not.
A similar thing happened to me on Continental, but the polka song “Continental Gives Me Bad Vibrations” about a destroyed Fleshlight didn’t quite resonate with the audience. But I’ll never forget that day. Or how mediocre it was f’ing an accordion in its stead.
