My first thought when I saw this was…

I wish this would have happened to a Detroit Lions quarterback

My second thought was #71 must not like his qb so much cause he was extremely slow to defend him

and finally,

My third thought was

Damn, I’m surpised this doesn’t happen more often with the excuse of “I didn’t hear the whistle”.

In fact, players should just start saying they have some kind of hearing loss and are unable to hear the whistle so they can always hit guys late.

It would make football that much more entertaining
