Also, it’s like Super Mario Bros, but starring Wonder Woman.
There’s no real story here; it’s apparently just some demo reel from Punga, an animation and branding house. Just enjoy this awesome mixture of old school gaming and classic television…
… The only problem here is that it’s too short! Would love to see what else they could do if there was more time, or if they tried inserting Night Court into the mix. Fun fact: that show was the main reason why I wanted to move to New York City as a kid. No joke. That and the old Late Night with David Letterman.
Here’s another faun-fact: I used to be the lead game designer for Ubisoft’s short live NYC studio. Also no joke. At one point, my primary duty was to create budget PSone games based upon old American shows that were becoming popular in Europe. Unfortunately, they were too cheap to go full out on the licenses, the Magnum PI game lacked Tom Selleck, just the guy who played Jonathan Higgins.
Better yet was the A Team game, in which they didn’t want to spring for Mr. T’s likeness, so they said “just have a black guy’s arm coming out of the van to punch people.” I am NOT making this up. Nor how I also tried spearheading a role playing game based upon Charles In Charge. Would have been AWESOME…
