VIDEO: So what was the deal with Mario’s first girlfriend again?

Everyone knows about Princess Toadstool, aka Peach, but what about his first gal pal? AKA Pauline from the original Donkey Kong?

Well, she was kind of annoying for one…

In the end, Mario did indeed trade-up. Oh, there was that other princess, from Super Mario Land. Daisy, which he immediately passed off to his brother. I’m sure Luigi isn’t too upset for having sloppy seconds, especially since she’s kinda hotter that Mario’s blonde bimbo (imho)…

And yes, I am talking about two totally made up characters, figments of some dude’s imaginations. What of it.
