VIDEO: Super Mario RPG, Pokemon, Portal, and more, all via rap

What’s with the influx of video game related rapping all of a sudden? Not that I’m complaining of course, since many of them are actually quite decent!

First up is one inspired by one of best damn songs ever from a game, if I don’t say so myself. “Beware the Forest’s Mushrooms” is the name of the song, from Super Mario RPG for the SNES. Re-titled “Waltz of the Forest”, it’s something I haven’t been able to stop re-watching for the past hour (no joke)…

Next up, yet another Pokemon rap. There’s actually a TON that’s popped up all over the place, so here’s just one…

And here have yet another little something from the guys at Dorkly, that’s all about portals…

Shifting gears somewhat is something a bit more… hardcore and serious? Here’s an ode to Street Fighter’s resident pretty boy Vega…

And finally, one that’s all about the dudes that makes gaming so rewarding; all those bosses who kicks your ass and whom you try to return the favor…
